I think this hotel is ok for business travelers, but for a leisure traveler I don't think this one provides the best experience and I'd pass next time. The problem is that it seemed like every little thing in the room had a price tag on it or came with an outrageous extra charge. Need to use the umbrella, contact the lobby for pricing, want a different kind of pillow, contact the lobby for pricing, need to use the internet, 20 euro charge no problem. I mean even the mini bar is one of those kinds where if you accidentally touch something it electronically bills you automatically. Charging extra for everything is ok if you are a business traveler and someone else is paying, but if you are a leisure traveler and have put down your own hard earned money (especially at what you pay a night here), wondering if you are going to be charged for every little thing in the room takes away from the leisure experience in my view. Instead of being relaxing and fun, it was actually borderline stressing (like am I going to be charged if I use this coffee mug, it does say it can mine for the low price of 20 euro). The good things is that the location is the best in Helsinki and the room was very comfortably furnished. But otherwise I would suggest leisure travelers try something else.

Hotel Kamp is a beautiful hotel with a front desk staff that is extremely helpful and courteous. The room was large and very clean. The bed was a tad bit uncomfortable and there was a lack of TV stations available. The bar and the Japenese restaurant were very good (although the restaurant was understaffed) Overall a very nice hotel with a perfect location.

Check-in was quick, good customer service, friendly staff. The room was very large and comfortable - and quiet (executive room) - with large king-size bed, desk with two chairs, sofa, large wardrobe, plasma TV, very well stocked minibar (with sensors: if you take something out, it will be charged immediately). The bathroom was a very good size, with lots of grey marble, big bath, separate shower, excellent toiletries. The location of this hotel is exellent: just a few minutes from the harbour and the market square (Kauppatori) and just next to the Esplanade Park. Lots of nice shops also next to the hotel.

Location is perfect, outside of the hotel is striking, lobby is quite nice, staff are friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very spacious (especially for Europe) and beautiful. My expectations were high given that this is a luxury collection Starwood property and those expectations were generally met. Minor irritations included: wishing the bed was more comfortable, in-room dining menu was just ok, and there's some type of underground drilling that the hotel can't do anything about that you hear on occassion. Perhaps higher floor would help. Would absolutely return.

staff disturbed me by door when do not disturb sign was on, and when they did not get contact (I was in the bath tub) then ringing in the phone several times (It could not be reach from the bath tub) and then an intens annoying sound (that escalated and woult not stop, intens volume!) from the tv started to signal that I got a message on the phone! Just because I did asked for some pillow-spray. I think they could just have left the (complementary) pillow spray outside my door.

L'Hotel Kämp è davvero un bellissimo albergo, le camere sono molto pulite e confortevoli, molto elegantemente arredate. Anche il ristorante dell'albergo è molto buono, anche se si paga una birra ben 8 €!!! Comunque lo consiglio a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno indimenticabile nella capitale finlandese.

Stilfullt hotell, rent og komfortablet rom, men uten utsikt. God service. Ta med badetøy til fellesbadstue. Det burde ha vært vannkoker på rommet.
