The room was pretty small & tight, even by European standards, but it served its purpose well enough. Breakfast was decent, but nothing to write home about. There's a supermarket 4 buildings down the block as well as a McDonald's, for worst case scenarios. A post office is around the block, which is also conviently on the way to the Les Gobelins metro station (Line #7). Nothing's relly close by, so expect to utilize the metro. I got a room with a street view, so I was able to use the balcony as a "refrigerator," although some of their larger rooms MAY have an actual cooler.

This hotel delivers on what you hope to find in a 3 star hotel - a good location, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price, clean rooms, big renovated bathroom with shower and nice tub, and a good quality queen sized bed (instead of the poor quarlity double beds that we had in other 3 star hotels). Rooms walls a little thin, but not unexpected. Based on our experience, if you book this hotel you will not regret it.

I had been in Paris many times before and usually stayed in the Latin Quarter. But I was pleasantly surprised by the location of this hotel. It was within easy access of my previous familiar haunts but allowed me to discover/explore the Mouffetard neighborhood, Curie Museum, Pantheon, Gare St. Lazarre, Paris' "Chinatown", Salpêtrière hospital.
