Hotel America

For a 3* hotel was suprisingly clean. Reception staff speak good English and were helpful, we arrived early but were able to check in. Food was what you'd expect for a spanish all inclusive; I'm really fussy but could usually find something to eat - don't know if I could have eaten every meal for 2 weeks but a week would be ok. The AI was quite good, didn't have to wait too long for drinks etc, each person could get 3 drinks at a time. The hotel was full but still we had no problems; sunbeds get a bit thin on the ground after 10 but there's always people coming and going so you can grab one later on, or go to the beach which is a nice little cove. The resort again is typical Spain similar to Benidorm etc, obviously a lot smaller and a good bit quieter. There were lots of families there with young children rather than teenagers. The resort had an Indian restaurant along with 2 Chineses, didn't use them but heard decent reports, there's quite a few pubs/bars that serve meals. Guests were a good mixture of nationalities. The only down side for us was it's an hours drive from the airport, which as we were only there for a long weekend was a bit far. All in all we enjoyed our break. Staying in a hotel like this is all about expectation, don't expect gourmet food, table service waiters and peace and tranquility - go to a 5* for that. If you want clean, simple, reasonably priced accommodation in the sun then this hotel fits the bill.

We were a party of 16, America ticked all the boxes for the kids (4-16), Bar Staff worked hard and still smiled. The menu is ok and plenty of it, its more 3 star than 4, would'nt recomend it for a couples loation, its Butlins abroad, but having said that it was a wonderful family holiday, one complaint, the British and the Irish are their main customer base so why cant we have our beer in pint or litre glasses....overall would go again

We stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2009 and loved it. Perfect location near a idyllic beach. Accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable. Food was very good with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend it.

VERY FRIENDLY AND WELL ORGANISED HOTEL. The service was fantastic, and there was copious an=mounts of food and drinks. The small cove adjacent to the hotel has a great beach, with huge waves my two sons loved it ! HOTEL Pools rather cold but very clean, pool games could have been more frequent kids 11 and 13 enjoyed water polo.

Our accomadation in the 'annex' was wonderful. We were very pleasently surprised to find a very airy and specious accomsdation with a stunning sea view. All the staff were most helpful and accomodating. The selection of food again was beyond our expectations. It was a shame that in the evenings it was difficult to find a quiet room with enough air conditioning to enjoy playing cards. Also on the downside the evening entertainment could have been less sporadic. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would defnately return.

this was our 2nd stay and it was just as pleasurable as the first. friendly helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food. convenient for the shops, right next to the beach, bus stop outside . only wish there were tea and coffee facilities in room but took travel kettle . will definatley go back again.beautiful views from balcony either side of hotel.

Spent 8 days here without a problem, food good for a 3 star hotel, plently of drinks etc. Would go again

This hotel caters for the mass audience; if you don't mind plastic plates and cutley along with processed food then this will be fine for you. The rooms were fine and service good. Do be careful when booking through Hotels.com though as there is no option to book children online. When I rang to enquire about this, as we wanted to take our 5 year old with us, I was told not to worry as the room would have enough beds in for us all; however when we got to the hotel I was told I would have to pay an additional 125 Euros. And I didn't even get a bed for my son on the first night! And I had to pay to call Hotels.com to query this from Mallorca - all additional and unwanted expense which I had to fork out.

My 12 year old daughter and myself (dad 45) spent a week at this hotel and had a great time ! For a 3star hotel there is a good level of service and choice of food , also any issues we had( which there were few)were dealt with very quickly and efficiently . Th eonly thing on the down side i would mention was the usual pretty low standard of entertainment , but this is true at most hotels of this size and standard . The hotel location with the beach on your doorstep and the views from every hotel room more than make up for thie entertainment !! You wont be dissapointed after visiting this hotel.

this hotel was fine for a weeks holiday and contained most things that a three star hotel in Spain would have it was clean comfortable and good value for money the all inclusive worked well and saved you using money all the time the staff were pleasant and helpful and worked hard the caberet was very amateur but they tried hard overall I would come back to this hotel and would be happy to recommend it to anyone

Maten Vi hade "all inclusive". Maten (smaken) var väl inte tipp topp. Men tack vare att man hade så många valmöjligheter så får det ändå godkänt. I resturangen serverades det frukost kl 0800-1000, Lunch 1300-15-00 och middag 18.30-21.00. Lunch och middag varierades. Ville man inte äta där kunde man äta hamburgare, pommes, varm korv, "varma mackor" i poolbaren. Eller ta pizza och sallad i pizzabaren mellan1200-2400. Dessutom kunde en BBQmiddag avätas ute på gräsmattan om man ville. Vin serverades överallt. Öl endast i poolbaren och Cofe bar (pubtyp). Många drinkar och spritsorter ingick i all inclusive. Glass fanns på flera ställen. Rummet Att kliva in i rummet som hade ett panoramafönster ut mot havet var underbart. Vårt rum var riktat ut mot havet vilket gav denna utsikt men i stort sett var alla rum med "Havsutsikt". Hotellet var bygt på en udde och rummen vinklade så att alla rummen fick ocian view. Sängarna var ett problem. Stenhård. Jag skulle gärna ha legat i en mjukare säng. Servicen mycket bra. Kvällsunderhållning fanns med varierat innehåll. Området var väl inte så intressant att gå. Fanns dock möjlighet att lätt ta sig till närliggande områden med Buss, båt eller hyrd bil. Bad. Fin strand med möjlighet till snorkling (spec om man ville simma en bit) Bra ställe, Kan tänka mig att åka tillbaka.

Hotellet har mestadels brittiska och tyska gäster. Hörde inte svenska en enda gång på hela veckan. Fantastisk panorama-utsikt över medelhavet från balkongen. Hög standard på rummet (i annexet). Trappor ner till stranden. All inclusive - det fanns något att äta/dricka från 0800-2400. Maten var tråkig dock prisvärd på hotellet. Dyrt att äta ute på restaurang (Sverige-priser). Tänk på att boka shuttle till/från Palma - det går bara EN buss per dag till Calles de Mallorca.

Et helt "vanlig" 3-stjerners turisthotell. Skiller seg ikke ut i mengden når det gjelder byging/rom. Ganske stort. Fantastisk beliggenhet (utsikt), men ganske kjedelig landsby. Multinasjonalt klientell: mest UK, men også litt G og østeuropa. Få skandinaviere. Underholdning/aktiviteter for barn og voksne hver dag. Meget bra All Inclusive. Mat og drikke fra 0800 til 2400, inkludert viner (varierende kavlitet) og andre alkoholholdige varer (mye ok). 2 åpne spisesteder i tillegg til frokost/lunch og middag (også i all inclusive). Her serveres pizza, salater, hamburgere etc. Gratis is ("bøtteis" - 4 varianter) uten begrensning hele dagen. Fin buffet til alle hovedmåltider. Mye folk rundt hotellets 2 bassenger, men det løste seg alltid med plass. Kort veg til 2 fantastiske strender (2 minutter, -noen trapper). Vi synes dette var "value for money", men det blir selvsagt en "turistmaskin" og ikke så mye "spansk".

Vi hade en fantastisk vecka med ett bra rum, kanonläge nära stranden, OK mat, bra underhållning och allt "all inclusive".

Trevligt hotell, nära till fin strand. Bra kommunikationer. Maten höll bra klass.

Gut geführtes Hotel, freundliches Personal.

We (5 couples) went to this hotel for 3 nights and were all VERY happy to see the how nice the hotel is. All inclusive buffet were every day very nice. The view over the see from our room were stunning. A very friendly staff. Nice swimmingpool and nice beach.

Fine location by the sea. Was not impressed by the food, but then again - you get what you pay for...
