Capital of the Riviera, Nice is famed for its sleek shops and avant-garde cultural scene. The palm-lined Promenade des Anglais extends along the pebbly beaches of the Baie des Anges past expensive hotels and a casino. Higher up, the quaint alleys of old Nice meander past baroque churches. The exclusive Cimiez neighbourhood has Roman remains and two excellent modern art museums. Carnival and the July Jazz Festival attract many visitors.

Saved a lot through hotels.com. Happy with the accomidations - clean, and the kitchenette was a great money saver. Very close to the beach, but very out of the way from the center of town. Even to get to the train station was a 15 euro taxi ride (although there are 2 buses which will take you there, but they stop running as early as 9pm.) Would recommend, but not the best.

The hotel is situated about halfway between hotel and airport on the no 23 bus route which rund from Terminal 1 to the city for a cost of just one euro. The 98 bus also stops in teh neaxt street from Terminal 2 but that will cost you 4 Euros. The hotel rooms each ahve a small kitchen which would be handy if staying a while but apart from pans and cutlery etc nothing is supplied. No salt coffee filters or washing up liquid for example. There is a small clean pool available and the rooms are airconditioned. The city centre old town and port is about 40 minutes walk. Buffet breakfast is OK - nothing special

we liked the hotel we were in. It did not come however, with a bit of coffee so that we could start the morning not having to leave our room. During our stay, the elevator broke, so it was not repaired immediately and we had to lug our suitcases on a circular staircase. A little too much. The beaches nearby were very good. We were a little too far from the action, but close to the airport.

it's easy to walk everywhere from here but the very lazy can catch a bus from the front of the hotel, the room was small but clean, the towels and bedding were changed daily, the windows actually opened and best of all a comfortable hotel grade mattress (a deep memory foam) on the bed. Ticked all my boxes for my personal requirements of my short trip

This hotel was ideal for me as I was on my own. It had a kitchenette, ie, fridge, microwave, coffee perculator, pots and pans etc but no toaster. The room had a tiled floor and was spacious. Small balcony with table & 2 chairs. Shower room etc. Clean. The hotel is on a busy road just 5 mins walk from beach and promanade. I arrived early, 12pm but they wouldn't let me have my room until 2pm, otherwise, staff were very nice and helpfull. Bus stop very nearby for bus into Nice center and train station, about 15 mins

We stayed at the Nice Magna for the last three nights of a 16 day tour of France Sept 27-30 2008. The studio was small but adequate and clean. The apartments are rented in two modes, hotel mode and apartment mode, we stayed in it as a hotel mode, which meant we got maid service everyday (not too sure about the other mode differences). Maid service changed the towels and made the bed but did not do the dishes, the only thing lacking in the apartment was something to actually wash the dishes with or wipe down the surfaces, though we did not try cooking on the stove. The walls are pretty thin and we could hear the neighbours tv in the morning. We reserved space in the garage ,which is under the actual building and very convenient and inexpensive, seven euro a day come and go as you please, if you have a car because parking in Nice can be a nightmare. The hotel is one block from Promenade Des Anglais and a good 20 minute walk to Vieux Nice, but there is plenty of shopping, boulangeries, patisseries and cafes 2 minutes from the front door. returning to Nice airport was 10 minutes by car, but I think the airport bus stops right outside the front door and takes only 15-20 minutes maybe less. In terms of price this was fantastic value for money

A very pleasant and convenient hotel to use as a base whilst staying in Nice. The Hotel is clean and confortable, albeit somewhat basic and funtional. An extremely convenient position for the beach (shingle) five to six minute walk, although extreme caution is advised whilst crossing the road at the seafront. A journey of 10-15 minutes on the bus enables you to be in the centre of Nice for shopping and the main rail Station,a similar time is taken travelling to Nice airport. A good quality supermarket is available ( Casino) turning left and left again from hotel main entrance 2-3 minute walk. Buses available almost immediately outside the hotel Breakfast seemed expensive at 7.50 euros per person

We stayed for two nights in August. The room was small but nice and tidy with tiled floors, a small kitchenette and a nice bathrom. The hotel has a private parking for ?6/day which is much cheaper than the public parking garage underneath (?25). Most of the rooms seems to have balconys and even though ours were at the front, facing the quite busy street, the soundproofing was good so we had no trouble sleeping. The airconditioning also worked great. There is a nice backyard with a pool, open until 20:00. The staf was friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned daily if you had the "Hotel" option or weekly if you stayed longer as a "Resident". I can recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice.
