Vienna’s smallest postal district, named after Emperor Joseph I, is a popular residential area with a mix of students and affluent middle classes who colonize restored Biedermeier townhouses and luxury apartments. Its attractions include a complex of Baroque church buildings around the Piaristenkirche, the Josefstadt light-entertainment theatre and a folk art museum.

The Levante Laudon is really a well-furnished serviced apartment complex, suitable for business or holiday. Breakfast is included in the 'superior' option - nothing special but you can always use the cafe next door instead if you want more variety. Rooms are not air-conditioned but we simply borrowed a fan, in conjunction with high ceilings this coped with 32 degree humid temperatures easily. Breakfast in the courtyard, shaded by tall trees, was cool and airy. The apartments have a bedroom, en-suite, living room and kitchen area. Ideal for getting a cup of tea or a glass of cold juice at any time. Or just chilling out in the afternoon after a hard day in the museums, before visiting a restaurant or Heurige in the evening. The hotel is close to the Rathaus - fantastic at this time of year with the Film Festival in full flow. Well worth a visit.

Boutique hotel. As another reviewer mentioned, the reception closes early, so call and make sure somebody will be there if you plan to arrive late. I booked this hotel last minute, and got a good rate. No complaints for the money: decent room, free WLAN, and clean. the service was also good at reception, while they were short-staffed, the guy made every effort to get through people as fast as possible while still giving good service. Kudos for that. about 10 min to the nearest train station, a short ride to the city center.

Outstanding location, just a 10 minute walk on quiet streets to the Rathaus and the Inner City, this Viennese apartment hotel is a gem: quiet, modern and unpretentious. The rooms are large and the kitchen was fully equipped. The front desk staff were multi-lingual and extremely helpful. And the price was more than reasonable.

Levante Hotel was a very excellent surprise. The hotel staff is very organised and always willing to help. We had no problem arriving in the hotel after the reception was closed as the key was left with the staff of a nearby restaurant. Breakfast is simple, but everything is delicious. The room is very nicely decorated and very spacious. I really recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Vienna.

I chose this hotel because of the pictures. It looked clean, modern, and spacious, and it was. It even had a small kitchen inside of it for those who'd want to prepare their meals. Additionally, the front desk was very helpful. The drawback was the location. I wanted something closer to the museums but didn't have the time to research hotels. While the museums were only a few underground stops away, the neighborhood seemed dull. If it's location you want, there's got to be something better out there.

When we arrived at the hotel there was no one at reception, and we waited about half an hour before finally someone showed up. We were also very surprised to find out the rooms are only cleaned every four days! But that said, overall we had a good stay. The apartments are very large, and their modernish IKEA look grows on you. Started feeling like a cool home away from a home, but not like a conventional hotel. Very central and close to the main Vienna ring road.

Ideal for longer stay. The loft type apartment was well equipped, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Staff was very helpful and well prepared, but only available during the day. The shared facilities are quite small, but still wasn't crowded. Nothing fancy, but I loved it. Close to center in a very quiet residental area. Only short term parking on the street, but the hotel provides parking on discounted rate(18 EUR a day) in a nearby parking garage. The bedroom was little too warm though...

The lift is super small wouldnt be able to fit a buggy in and those who dont like small spaces need to take the stairs..the steep stairs! Also the queen bed is 2 single beds squashed together. Breakfast is served on a small table and there isnt a great deal of choice

Firstly, we were greeted by the genuinely curteous staff who delighted us by informing us that we had a room upgrade to the one we booked. The staff were very knowledgable and proud of their city, helping us to find our way around and directing us to exactly the right places of our interest. I wanted to go to the Sunday concert at the Musikverein but didn't decide to do that till the Sunday. The staff efficiently offered and booked tickets for me on-line at reception, as well as booking a taxi that seemed to appear as the receptionist ended the call. The bedroom was comfortable and had crisp white linen with a sumptuous polyester duvet. It was clean and calming. I slept like a log. The Kitchenette of our apartment was incredibly well equiped. The bathroom was modern and had a deep bath and excellent shower. The lounge area had a generously sized flat screen T.V. and a DVD player with surround sound. The breakfast was generous and varied and the coffee machine was the expensive type that serves coffee with a cremalayer. I'm a tea drinker but this was the best coffee I've ever tasted. My parting comments to the staff were, 'I've loved Vienna and I will be back to stay at your hotel.'

Ich würde dieses Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt so wie wir ihn hatten, auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
