It would be hard to imagine a more satisfying stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the prompt attention to request and the comfort and loveliness of the room itself all exceeded my expectations. I had the Green Room which comes with a garden setting, a private porch, kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, a commodious bath and even a separate dressing room with computer desk at one end. I was pampered as if I were the only guest; the desk staff gave suggestions for where to eat, special places to see including insider information on the best bridge to approach Trastevere by foot. And when I left, they encouraged me to hire their driver for the ride to the airport and it was one more great suggestion. The price was a bargain for a comfortable ride with a gentleman who spoke English and who made interesting comments about Italian culture and politics in response to my questions. I even met Ms. Fendi, who was utterly gracious. A charity event was on the schedule at the Villa on a Monday evening. We were all told in advance but the event in no way impinged on our privacy. Rather, guests to the degree they chose could mingle a bit with Roman celebrity guests who were impeccably gracious.

This hotel was perfect for us. It is in a great location as we wanted the Prati neighborhood specifically. The staff was very accomodating. The rooms are so eclectic, you really feel like you are in an Italian Villa. Each one is different. We were in a Suite which had everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Showers were very small but common for Europe. We needed alot of assistance with directions to sites and markets etc. and Eva at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful. Hope to visit Rome again and would deffinately come back to Villa Laetitia!

Villa Laetitia is a real gem - hidden away and very quirky, beautiful rooms and a very handy supermarket nearby from which you can stock up the kitchen. Will definitely be going back.

This residence is fantastic. Excellent staff. Beautiful rooms. It is small and private; more like having a chic flat in Rome. The garden in between the main villa and the guest villa is beautiful. The Villa Laetitia is for sophisticated travelers. I plan on staying here again.

Reviewed by H of Scotland on Jun 17, 2008
We stayed in the Villa Laetitia in April this year and were really looking forward to it. The Villa is lovely, very clean and well decorated however there are two main drawbacks which together would lead me to never venture back: 1. The Villa is not particularly close to an underground station. It's a good 10 -15 minutes walk and if you have luggage that can make it a struggle. Indeed the area that it is in was not particularly comfortable to walk around in at night (I had a young child with me) because of its remoteness. 2. I stayed in room 102. The bed was fit for a child but not an adult. I could not sleep - I am not particularly tall and my feet stuck out the end of the bed. I complained to no avail and also left a letter with the owner - not surprisingly I have had no feedback. For the price the Villa was charging a visitor to Rome could get a much better and more central location for a better price and I would hope a bed that actually allows you to sleep.

This little hotel is design-y and edgy in a classic Italian way. Very cool...come to find out it is owned by one of hte Fendi women, so naturally each room is designed beautifully and each different. The desk staff are helpful and friendly. It's a little hide-a-way that is just wonderful. They even gave me a laptop to take to my room for the entire stay! So gracious. Romantic. For couples, not for children.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. As our room had its own kitchen we used this so that we could enjoy out breakfast on our private terrace. All staff were lovely and helpful. As we both like walking it was nice to be a bit out of town.

A little walk from the real downtown area, but not too bad - kind of a nice walking area anyway. Probably better staying a little out of the hustle and bustle - nice local quiet area - still has restuarants and bars within walking distance. My room was small (typical for Europe) but very nicely updated with flat screen TV etc. Modern and cool features set within a quaint old style building - many of the old classic features remain like the tiles in the room. Free wi-fi. They are doing renovations at the big main building at the front to make that also into hotels rooms - curently only the rooms at back area of the property are open. Did not notice any noise from the renovations and had no problems/interuptions etc. Kinda like saying at the guest quarters at the back of a grand building - very nice landscaping, sitting areas. Be interesting to see the big building after all the renovations. I would highly recommend this place for couples/single travelers who like more unique/boutique style hotels that are a little away from the tourist traps.
